About

Welcome to Manic Paints—a space where emotion spills over the edges and color refuses to behave.

I’m Emily, a Toronto-based visual artist chasing the raw, the restless, and the real. My work lives in the space between chaos and clarity—where brushstrokes are impulsive, colors clash on purpose, and nothing is ever quite still. I paint to process, to provoke, and to pull something honest out of the noise.

Each piece is a snapshot of a mood, a moment, or a manic burst of energy. I don’t aim for perfection—I aim for impact. Whether it’s acrylic on canvas or mixed media experiments, my art is about movement, emotion, and the stories we don’t always have words for.

Manic Paints is more than a name—it’s a mindset. It’s about embracing the mess, the intensity, and the beauty in being a little unhinged in a world that wants us to stay polished.

Thanks for being here. Stick around, explore the gallery, or drop me a line—I’d love to hear what you see in the chaos.
